Chris Hinson is the Director of IT and Communications at SIPS Education Limited, a not-for-profit company delivering bespoke infrastructure support services to education settings, which enables them to improve educational outcomes for their children and young people.
“As a member of the Management Board of the Company, I am responsible for the management of all functions within the IT & Communications portfolio. This includes strategic management of organisation wide corporate ICT and Corporate Communications, plus leading in developing and implementing the strategic direction of the service areas within the ICT & Communications portfolio including medium to long-term business planning. I love the fact that I still learn something new every day and that every day is different. I am also proud that my company genuinely cares about the people who use our services and that we are encouraged to go above and beyond to help whenever possible.
Sandwell is a fantastic place to be – it’s home! It feels great to try and give something back to the community that has invested so much in me. That’s why I hope that as an Ambassador I can give something back to the community by using my local knowledge to help benefit others.
It is also the central hub of our business, easily accessible to all and great links to enable us easy access to our client base across the Midlands. It’s an exciting time too, with lots of new building works and business developments taking place, and with the Commonwealth Games coming to the area in 2022, there is a lot to look forward too.”
